Dear patients,
With immediate effect, please note the following changes:
We kindly ask that you only attend the practice for pre-arranged face-to-face appointments. In addition, unless the patient is a child or needs assistance, we ask that all patients attend their face-to-face appointment on their own. Please also remember as per government legislation you are required to wear a face mask / covering when entering the practice (unless you have a medical exemption).
As per local guidance, whilst we are unable to take prescription requests over the phone, prescriptions can be requested online via the NHS App (or other online service apps, such as Patient Access). If you do not have online access, prescription requests can still be requested in-person by making a note of the items required, alongside your name and date of birth and putting your request in the large silver post box OUTSIDE the main front doors of the practice. The prescription box within the practice has now been removed, so please do not bring your requests inside. Alternatively, you can put your requests in the smaller black post box outside of Bursledon Surgery. Both of these post boxes are emptied daily.
For all other non-patient facing enquires we ask that you either call the practice on 023 8045 3110 to discuss your query. Alternatively, you can use the eConsultation service.
These changes are put in place to help protect all of our staff and patients and we are grateful for your continued support.
