Ordering a repeat prescription

Registered patients can now order repeat prescriptions online.

To use this service, please ask a member of the reception team to create an account for you, and then either register with Evergreen LifePatient Access or NHS App.

Repeat Prescriptions

Patients may request a repeat prescription in the following ways:

  • By leaving a request in either our internal or external post boxes
  • By leaving a request in the post box at Williams Netley Abbey or Hamble Pharmacy at Coronation Parade.
  • In person at Reception
  • Our online services have been switched back on but with a different clinical provider. Access https://patient.emisaccess.co.uk for more info and how to register.

**In conjunction with guidance from the LMC (Local Medical Committee) and in the interests of patient safety the Practice is no longer accepting requests for repeat or acute medication over the telephone **

Repeat Prescription

The prescription will be available for collection within 2 working days. If patients wish to have their scripts delivered to the local chemist for dispensing please indicate this when asking for a repeat.

Any new medications or requests from the hospital will take longer as these have to be authorised.


Medicine Management

If you need some help with organising your medicines or just need some advice about your medicines please arrnage a telephone appointment with Sarah Fairbrass, our Medicines Management Pharmacy Technician, via the practice's telephone number (023 8045 3110).

Sarah is also able to make home visits for housebound patients.


Unwanted Medicines

If you have unwanted medicines at home - tablets, capsules or liquids, please return these to the pharmacy who dispensed them.

Every year in the NHS South Central Region we waste an estimated £20 million worth of medicines because people ask for prescriptions for medicines they don’t use.

It’s a cost we cannot afford – this same amount of money could buy other essential services.
